Greeting Card Options

WD offers personalized greeting card options to compliment gift orders.  When your customer selects a greeting card advertised on your website and then adds a personal note to the gift message area, WineDirect will print the message on the card and include it in the package prior to shipping.

How it works:

  • Choose a greeting card option from our selection below or provide your own branded card.
  • Submit a product setup form to csoperations@winedirect.com with the SKU that will be used.
  • Choose your font style and size (see specifications below).
  • When your customer adds a greeting card to their cart, along with the gift message, the associated sku should be sent along with the wine items ordered. 
  • Gift messages without an associated greeting card sku will print on the packing slip by default.
  • Refer to rate card for pricing.

Specifications and Requirements:

  • Our default font is “Lucida Handwriting”;  size 12.  You may specify a particular font. 
  • Foldable cardstock with the layout with either a Landscape or Portrait style.
  • Greeting Card character limit is 2000 including spaces.  
  • Our WineDirect card stock is 13 pt (.013 inch cardstock thickness), Recycled Matte Cover; card size 7" x 10" (folds to 7" x 5").  All cards have a prefold score. 
  • Custom gift card stock: we recommend using cardstock thickness of .013 inches.

If you are a Vin65 customer, you'll find instructions for setting up the greeting card option here.   If you use another eCommerce provider, please work with them to set up the greeting card SKU.

sample card and a test order processed.
