The challenge during hot summer months is to provide a reliable temperature-controlled solution for shipping your wine. WineDirect offers three options to ensure the integrity of your product.

Good: CoolPacks

  • Time in transit: 1 to 8 days
  • Cost: adds from $7 to $12 to shipping cost

Better: Temp-Controlled Trucks

  • Time in transit: 5 to 8 days
  • Cost: same as ground

Best: Bi-Coastal Fulfillment

  • Time in transit: 2 to 3 days
  • Cost: reduced zone

Summer: Summer Shipping 2017

  • Effective: May 15th through Sept 15, 2017

Temperature Controlled Truck to Glenwillow, OH - Now available year-round

We offer Temperature Controlled Trucks from our American Canyon, CA (WDI) facility direct to our Glenwillow, OH (GLW) facility.  This delivery option act as a zone skip to the Eastern states and ensures your product’s temperature integrity for the first leg of travel. The route is available year round and departs every Friday from WDIwith first delivery attempt on Tuesday.

Details 

Carrier Code:   To ship via Temp Control Trucks, orders must be submitted with the
  specific carrier code:CST8 (UPS) or CST9 (FedEx). If an order is 
  submitted with any other carrier code, it will not be loaded onto the
  Temp Trucks.  The order will be handed off to the carrier at WDI for
  standard delivery.
Order Cutoff:   DAILY orders must be received and cleared of any errors or holds by
  1:00pm (PST) Thursday for Friday truck. CLUB orders follow the Club
  Checklist timeline.
Rates:   Weight based fulfillment rates are calculated using WDI as the origin
  facility.

 

Northern Route State Coverage

The following states are not serviced by the temp-controlled trucks: Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Southern Route State Coverage
