Configuring SPF

To ensure proper delivery of notifications, you must add an include for _spf.winedirect.com in your SPF record. An SPF record is a Domain Name Service (DNS) record that identifies which mail servers are permitted to send email on behalf of your domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to prevent spammers from sending messages with forged From addresses at your domain.  Adding this information will give WineDirect permission to send the consumer email shipments on your company's behalf.  Below is an example of an properly configured SPF record with _spf.winedirect.com included:

Before: "v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all"

After: "v=spf1 include:_spf.winedirect.com include:_spf.google.com ~all"

Optional Configuration (if you use WineDirect Ecommerce)

If you are a customer that also uses WineDirect Ecommerce, you also need to include _spf.vin65.com in your SPF record.

Example: "v=spf1 include:_spf.winedirect.com include:_spf.google.com include:_spf.vin65.com ~all"
